Here is the brief introduction about Dongjiaxin Cable Production Process
1. Wire Drawing and Annealing Process
The wire drawing process is the first step in cable production. We use advanced continuous wire drawing and annealing technology to gradually draw high-quality copper rods or aluminum rods into wires that meet specifications through multiple dies. During this process, the ctrystal structure of the material is refined to enhance the mechanical strength and conductivity of the conductor. Then, annealing treatment is carried out to eliminate the internal stress generated during wire drawing, further enhancing the ductility and flexibility of the conductor to ensure it is not easily broken during subsequent processing and actual use.
2. Stranding Process
In the stranding process, we precisely strand the single wires drawn and annealed according to specific diameters and stranding methods using high-speed stranding machines to form multi-core conductors. This stranding structure not only improves the skin effect and heat dissipation capacity of the conductor but also enhances its resistance to tension, torsion, and interference, ensuring stable transmission of large currents by the cable and good flexibility during laying.
3. Insulation Extrusion Process
In the insulation extrusion process, we use high-quality insulation materials such as polyvinyle chloride(PVC), cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE), and low-smoke zero halogen(LSZH), and uniformly coat them on the surface of the stranded conductor through advanced twin-screw extruders. The extrusion process strictly controls temperture, pressure, and speed to ensure uniform insulation thicnkness, no bubbles, and no impurities, forming a dense and excellent electrical insulation protective layer to effectively prevent breakdown and short circuit phenomena.
4. Assembly Process
The assembly process arranges several insulated cores according to design requirements and twists them into cable cores through cabling machines. During cabling, we pay attention to the control of gaps and compactness between the cores to ensure the overall roundness and stability of the cable. In addition, for cable with special requirements, necessary fillers or wrapping tapes may be embedded at this stage to meet their structural and performance requirements.
5. Armouring Process
For cables that need to withstand large mechanical external forces or special environments such as rodent-proof and corrosion-resistant, we perform armouring processes. Using galvanized steel strips, steel wires, or alloy materials, we tightly wrap them around the outer surface of the cabled core after cabling using armouring machiens to form a strong metal armouring layer. Armouring not only significantly improves the compression, tension, and bending resistance of the cable but also enhances its resistance to external damage and protection capabitily. ensuring the long-term stable operation of the cable in complex environments.
6. Shielding Process
For cables that need to surpress electromagnetic interference or improve the quality of signal transmission, such as computer cables, control cables, and communication cables, we perform shielding processes. Utilizing braiding or wrapping methods to form effective electromagnetic shielding layers, wrapping them on the surface of insulated cores or cabled cores. The shielding layer can effectively absorb and reflect external extromagnetic interference, while preventing internal singals from affecting the outside, ensuring the acccuracy and integrity and signal transmission.
7.Sheathing Extrusion Process
Finally, we add outer sheaths to complete the above processes. Similarly, using extruderss to uniformly coat weather-resistant and excellent PVC, LSZH, and other materials related on the surface of the cable, forming protective outer sheaths. The outer sheath endows the cable with good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, waterproof, and UV resistance characteristics, and can adapt to various harsh environmental conditions, prolonging thee service life of the cable. For cables for specific purposes, such as fire-resistant cables and environmentally friendly cables, we select special sheath materials that comply with corresponding standards to ensure they have corresponding special properties.
